Our expert staff can help you with everything from mechanical and chemical filtration to managing water currents and lighting setups. Exotic Aquatics can help you build your first reef aquarium or maintain your existing setup.

Exotic Aquatics is owned and operated by Jeff Renfroe.

Jeff started out as a reef aquarium hobbyist 30 years ago. Eight years later Jeff got into the business. 22 years later he is operating one of Northern Illinois top reef aquarium stores.

Exotic Aquatics is a family buisness. Jeff's Brother James handles most of the maintenance and cleaning of customers tanks. Jeff's daughter Elise is the manager at the store.
